AI-native IDE
Learn how SPECTRALE's AI-native IDE connects visual software architecture editing with secure, agent-driven deployments through MCP.
Design architecture changes visually. Deploy through connected AI agents.
SPECTRALE's AI-native IDE connects architecture visualization with agent-driven implementation. Instead of treating your architecture as a static diagram, you can use the workspace to prepare structural changes and hand them off to an authorized AI agent.
The IDE brings architecture editing, deployment requests, agent communication, and verification into one connected workflow.
From visualization to implementation
Traditional architecture diagrams describe how systems are organized.
SPECTRALE extends this concept by allowing users to prepare changes directly within the visual architecture.
You can add components, adjust dependencies, and build an architecture draft without immediately modifying the underlying infrastructure.
When you are ready, SPECTRALE prepares a structured deployment request for a connected AI agent.
The agent receives the instructions through MCP and uses its own available tools and permissions to implement the requested changes.
The AI-native workflow
1. Explore your architecture
Open your project workspace and inspect the components and dependencies discovered from connected sources.
Use the 2D or 3D view to understand how the system is structured.
2. Enter Edit Mode
Switch from View Mode to Edit Mode to prepare architectural changes.
Changes are staged as an architecture draft rather than immediately applied to the underlying system.
3. Prepare your deployment
Review the proposed changes and select an authorized AI agent.
SPECTRALE prepares a structured description of the requested architecture modifications.
4. Deploy on Agent
Submit the deployment request.
The selected agent retrieves the task through the MCP integration and carries out the implementation using its own capabilities and permissions.
5. Review and verify
Follow the deployment conversation, inspect progress updates, and review the reported result.
Where supported, SPECTRALE performs rediscovery to compare the resulting architecture against the intended changes.
What SPECTRALE does — and does not do
SPECTRALE provides the visual editing environment, deployment coordination, structured instructions, and deployment history.
The connected AI agent performs the actual implementation.
SPECTRALE does not independently launch external AI clients or provide the external agent's compute and inference resources.
Actual execution depends on the agent's capabilities, available tools, permissions, and access to the target environment.
Availability
The AI-native IDE and agent deployments are available on every active plan, within project limits, repository limits, and the token balance.
